Time together on your honeymoon is all about the two of you, doing what you please, when you please.
If the idea of a hotel, with its fixed meal times and a knock on the door from housekeeping isn’t for you, we’ve got the answer – a fabulous choice of villas for two in the Greek Islands. You can dine out in local tavernas when you feel like it or rustle up a delicious feast ‘at home’ with produce from the market and freshly-caught fish from the local fishermen.
Most villa companies offer larger properties suitable for families and a party of friends but we have sought out a tempting selection of smaller villas in the Greek Islands, most with a private pool and some with direct beach access.
Choose from a wide range of islands such as Kefalonia, Crete, Lefkas, Corfu, Skopelos, Santorini and, on mainland Greece, Sivota. We’ve picked a wide range of styles too – from characterful charm to contemporary chic.
Style-junkies will love cool Villa Omikron on the island of Santorini – the views from the plunge pool are breathtaking.
It’s hard to imagine a more spectacular setting than the waterfront position of Assos Heart in Kefalonia. There’s a private pool, chic interior and the charming village of Assos close by.
Spiridon Beach House, on Corfu, is a rare find in Greece. It’s a charming one-bedroom beach house, a short stroll from local tavernas and shops as well as boasting a huge Jacuzzi overlooking the sea.
On Lefkas, our top recommendation is the one-bedroom Villa Paionia, set in the lush green hills above Lefkada. There’s a fabulous private pool and beautiful views of the Ionian sea.
Villa Selinos is a great choice, with its secluded location a very short drive from beaches and tavernas on pretty Skopelos. There’s a private pool, attractive terraces with great views and a really sexy master bedroom.
If you like a more contemporary style, Blue Sea Villa on Crete is perfect – and it’s just 50 metres from the beach and walking distance from tavernas and shops. Add to that a private pool, a pretty lawned garden and spectacular sea views and you have honeymoon heaven.
If you are travelling with children, we also have a selection of larger villas.
